I  work with clients across a range of industries but have tended to specialize in knowledge intensive organisations where the key challenge is to effectively lead and manage highly independent, intelligent, creative and self motivated staff such as researchers, academics, engineers, consultants, lawyers, medical staff etc. These types of organisations are often complex to lead as staff can be skeptical about the value of leadership and more interested in the exercise of their professional discipline. However, as with any organization where the source of productivity and creativity lies within the people, rather than with machines, systems or production lines, the quality of leadership will have a direct impact on the motivation and productivity of staff and therefore on the success of the organization as a whole.

I work with a range of clients and organizations on a one to one basis but am also closely connected to and partner with a network of colleagues with a wide-ranging group of skills and capabilities. This enables me to easily and rapidly build critical mass to meet the diverse needs of clients without losing the benefits of being a small, focused and specialist consulting organization.
