My core passion is working with people around the important transitions in their lives.

This may be helping individuals to step up into new and complex work roles, to work more effectively in current roles or to explore possible new career or life directions.  It may involve working with teams and groups to create vibrant, energising, trusting and productive working relationships.  Or it may be about assisting organisations to generate or move through complex changes with clarity and confidence.

I create challenging but supportive environments that give people the confidence to take risks, to experiment, to learn and grow and to move forward with energy and purpose in their life.

Much of my own challenge in recent years has been to find the time and space to pay as much attention to my inner journey of spirit, heart and mind – what gives me a sense of joy and purpose in my life – as to the external journey of career and achievement and figuring out how to bring the two more effectively together.  It gives me great pleasure to accompany others interested in a similar voyage of exploration and discovery.

When not involved in this grand and exciting work, I live in inner-city Melbourne with my husband Bill and tend a large and chaotic garden.

My story

6 Domain Model of Executive Coaching

I have worked in the agricultural, mining and research industries in Australia but for over 20 years now I have run my own consulting practice specialising in executive coaching, leadership development and team development for a range of organisations in the public and private sector.  In recent years I have had the opportunity to work regularly in executive leadership programs for major business schools in both Australia and Europe which has given me a wonderful opportunity to work with a richly diverse client base.

I generally work with individuals and organizations on a one to one basis but am also closely connected to and partner with a network of colleagues with a wide-ranging group of skills and capabilities.  This enables me to easily and rapidly build critical mass to meet the diverse needs of clients without losing the benefits of being a small, focused and specialist consulting organization.

Like many other people COVID-19 has prompted me to experiment with a range of new approaches and processes to achieve powerful outcomes for leaders and teams through online mechanisms.  I continue to experiment with these ways of working to ensure that I fully explore the strengths and benefits of both face to face and online approaches.
